color theory
For another year designing LinkedIn’s holiday celebration, the concept centered on bold color blocking, transforming the venue into fully immersive, tone-on-tone environments where every detail, from décor and entertainment to activations and F&B, was curated around a single hue. Guests entered through the Yellow Zone, greeted by a 12-foot illuminated “HELLO” bar and a collaborative balloon installation that grew into a floating sculpture as the night unfolded. The Orange Zone radiated playful energy with LED-lit swings and seesaws, oversized marigold installations, and Instagram-worthy moments that drew lines throughout the evening. In the Green Zone, lush greenery and textured florals created a tactile retreat, complete with succulent crafting and organic-inspired bites. The Pink Zone became the high-octane heart of the party, pulsing with DJs, glow sticks, vibrant lounges, and a headlining performance by Lady Bunny, while the Blue Zone offered intentional contrast, a silent disco paired with a sprawling lounge of board games and hands-on activities for a more relaxed rhythm. Together, the zones created a choose-your-own-experience celebration, allowing every guest to navigate the evening through mood, movement, and color.
