I had the distinct pleasure of designing the surprise 30th birthday celebration for Stephen Curry, hosted by the Golden State Warriors at Fort Mason Center. The concept reimagined a 100’ x 100’ arena footprint as a refined brown-liquor lounge, layered with leather seating, industrial metals, distressed wood, and moody lighting to create a cinematic, intimate atmosphere. Guests traveled more than 200 feet before passing through a custom 16-foot door emblazoned with his initials, building anticipation before the reveal. The night featured curated whiskey tastings, Michelin-star sushi, and a surprise performance by Paramore, culminating in a celebration that balanced theatrical scale with deeply personal detail.

A year after designing Stephen Curry’s 30th, I returned to create Ayesha Curry’s milestone celebration at Terra Gallery, a Jamaican Dancehall–inspired evening filled with tropical florals, rum tastings, jerk cuisine, and a glowing dance floor marked with her signature. A custom cake from Ace of Cakes and high-energy DJs anchored the night, while a simple wig station evolved into a theatrical runway reveal featuring custom creations by “Weaven Steven” on an illuminated staircase. The result was a vibrant, fashion-forward celebration layered with culture, personality, and spectacle.

Welcome to “The Spectrum,” a large-scale holiday appreciation event for LinkedIn hosted at Levi’s Stadium, designed as a multi-party experience within one unforgettable night. Rather than a single theme, the event unfolded as a series of distinct atmospheres, from a laid-back beach party and high-energy silent disco to an End Zone celebration and interactive game-night lounge, inviting guests to roam freely and curate their own journey. Roaming entertainment, including glowing jellyfish performers and spontaneous Thriller-inspired dancers, activated the transitions between spaces, adding surprise and theatricality throughout. The result was a dynamic, choose-your-own-adventure celebration that felt expansive, immersive, and alive with discovery.

For another year designing LinkedIn’s holiday celebration, the concept centered on bold color blocking, transforming the venue into immersive, tone-on-tone zones, each filled with décor, entertainment, activations, and F&B tied to a single hue. From the 12-foot illuminated “HELLO” bar in the Yellow Zone to LED playground moments in Orange, lush hands-on greenery in Green, high-energy DJs and Lady Bunny in Pink, and a calmer silent disco lounge in Blue, the night invited guests to move freely and choose their own rhythm.
